If you are ready to drive a bit more, some magical places are worth it ! Here are some of our favorite ones.

Huelgoat and The mounts of Arree

So many wonders and magic for just one day ! Choices must be made. Huelgoat is full of uniques and stunning trails. The Brasparts Country and Aree Mounts is wild and powerful.
One of our Crushes is within the Addes association that organizes walks for all ages, with singing and animations. Our daughter spoke of korrigans for many years afterwards, so much she believed in them.

Locronan is a jewel with nice shops but Douarnenez is a beautiful and also a city of character, with its Museum Port and narrow streets.

Colored and perfumed fields along the sea, with a sell of bulbs some weekends between March and April. A great Souvenir also !

The Crozon Peninsula

This is a favorite spot for sea gulls and other marin birds to nest. In June, we can see births and first take offs of the young ones.

So many wonders on this Peninsula ! Choices to be made also for a day trip.

In summer, the Festival du Bout du Monde is just excellent, for families during day time, with good discoveries, acoustic and gastronomic ones !!!
On the way to the Peninsula, the Terenez bridge is a nice architectura. The Landevennec abbaye is worth the visit. And Menez Hom gives a nice view all around, as it is one of Britany highest point with its 330 m !
Morgat is very pleasant, with expeditions by boat or kayak to visit some sub marin caves.
The Minerals House / La maison des Minéraux, a bit further, is a true jewel, with a nice fluorescent stones collection that totally enchanted our daughter (and us...).
The Goat Cape / cap de la Chèvre, Dinan castle (just ruins) and the Pen Hir Point are amazing. Nor far from there, the Alignements de Lagatjar are impressive and a bit off the beaten tracks.
